Year-Round Club Soccer Competition on Cape Cod
AC Independence offers year-round club soccer on Cape Cod for boys and girls, with structured training and competitive play. Each team environment is designed to build technical skill, game understanding and long-term development within a competitive, player-focused setting.
Club Competition
Year-round club teams train and compete from August through June, with players participating in top regional and national leagues, including the
New England Club Soccer League (NECSL),
EDP National League and the
Cape Cod Futsal League (CCFL). This structure delivers consistent, high-level competition across both outdoor and indoor environments.
Club Structure
We offer two clearly defined pathways to meet players where they are and move them forward:
Club Teams provide a competitive foundation focused on skill development, game understanding and consistent league play across the Cape Cod region and beyond.
Elite Teams are designed for advanced players seeking a higher level of competition, including regional showcases, increased training intensity and exposure to top-tier opponents.
Programming & Competition Structure
The club season runs August through June, supporting continuous development across fall, winter and spring through league play, futsal matches, competitive tournaments and structured training sessions. Programming is designed to maintain consistency in preparation and performance, allowing players to progress within a high-level environment.

Experienced Soccer Directors and Coaching Leadership
The club is led by experienced directors who shape its culture and development approach. Matheus Moreira leads the boys program and Yvonna Press leads the girls program, both overseeing training methodology, player development and team progression. Coaching across all teams is supported by a credentialed staff committed to developing confident, intelligent players.
Club Soccer Tryouts on Cape Cod
Players interested in joining are encouraged to request a tryout at any point during the year, with evaluations offered based on team availability and roster needs. Fall tryouts serve as the primary evaluation period for boys and girls club teams ahead of the season. Check out the details below.
